Meet Dr. Tonoah Hampton

Dr. Tonoah Hampton, Doctor of Strategic Leadership and master-prepared, registered nurse, leveraging her nursing practice knowledge and biblical principles to serve others in healthcare and the church. To help women heal from the inside out, you have to be approachable and transparent to empower them to face life's challenges. This approach has helped Dr. Tonoah garnish relationships with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Conferences, personal mentoring sessions, and bible studies have been instrumental in assisting Dr. Tonoah to meet the needs of countless people. Dr. Tonoah serves as the Executive Director of Balm Inc in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and Chief Consultant for Hampton and Co. Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm.
Servant Leader
In 2005, Dr. Tonoah Hampton had a vision of an organization where women and their families could receive practical and spiritual knowledge, to improve their health and well-being. Focusing on mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being is essential for good health and quality of life. Dr. Tonoah empowers women through candid conversations about life issues and health concerns. The encouragement Dr. Tonoah provides causes them to think differently, thus, facilitating inner healing of traumatic wounds created by life. Dr. Tonoah launched Balm TV in January 2018 as a ministry tool to discuss relevant topics that impact health and wellness. She delivers weekly virtual messages on Balm TV with Dr. Tonoah Hampton.
Temperament Life Coach
After serving 15 years in ministry, Dr. Tonoah accepted the call to the ministry of counseling. In 2021, she became a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor and Certified Temperament Pastoral Counselor recognized by the National Christian Counselor Association. Now, Dr. Tonoah combines temperament theory with nursing practice to guide people on the road to wholeness, healing, and transformation through Christian counseling and life coaching. This approach aids in empowering people to believe who they are, achieve their God-given purpose, develop leadership skills, and identify opportunities to mentor.
